Case Sample: For a group of small French wineries from Provence, redefine the image of Rose wines on the US market
- Situation: A group of small French wine producers wanted to understand whether they could revamp the image of their Roses wines on the US marketplace in order to increase their sales in the US
- Approach: Through a combination of (1) store checks, (2) trade and restaurants interviews and (3) focus groups, GiraMondo Wine Ventures was able to recommend a number of measure to reposition Roses wines in the US (especially to differentiate from Blush wines) and recommend a number of short to long term scenarios leading to price and volume increase
- Results: a better acceptance of the Rose wine category in the US leading to increased sales over time
